OPPLE light paints government conference hall in Baghdad with an even glow. Lighting designers overcome technical hurdles.
An OPPLE distributor in Baghdad won a project bid to provide lighting for an Iraqi government conference hall. This large government contract represents a significant milestone for OPPLE’s expansion into the lighting market in the Middle East.
The conference hall required evenly distributed lighting throughout its entire 4,000 square meters. Complex decorative designs lining the walls provided an ample challenge for OPPLE’s lighting designers. An illumination plan involving two different types of luminaries was used to achieve balanced and comfortable light distribution throughout the hall.
As OPPLE continues to build local teams to meet regional demands it will expand its global presence and establish itself as a locally integrated lighting solutions provider. This project marks a foundation for future business development in the Middle East and serves as a model for the impact good light can have on an environment.
